Building on the illustrative, fresh, refined look we created for last year’s design we made this year brighter and more whimsical. Inspired by the opening night performance of A Midsummer Night’s Dream, we brought in natural elements and a magical touch.
Based in Elora, Ontario, the three week long festival draws in both locals and tourists alike. We wanted to appeal to the existing festival patrons while also developing a fresh and approachable look to attract younger folks who may be new to classical and choral music.

To start off the process we crafted the illustration that would be the focal point of the marketing assets. Featuring a nighttime scene of the Gambrel Barn, one of the primary venues, we surrounded it with floral and woodland elements as a subtle nod to the opening night’s performance of A Midsummer Night’s Dream.
The assets delivered included posters, postcards, a brochure, social media posts, animated reels and digital ads.
